If not mistaken there is COR in Aristo 2jzgte. Is it tru?
You can just use a relay off the charge light globe to switch the toyota circuit open relay, a lot of cars use this method

NO, the Aristo has a Fuel Pump ECU, not a COR.Originally Posted by Omar
Below is the diagram from the other thread for the circuit I used to turn the PWM FPC signal into a trigger for a COR
cambelt has a suggestion which will also work, and is easier

Thanks for the details info
Cambelt, how do you run the COR off the charge light? Few more details to get me started would be great.
Thanks
Joel
You're confused I think.
In my diagram the FPC waveform (PWM from the engine ECU) comes in on the left and goes through the 1k resistor to trigger the MOSFET.
One side of the MOSFET connects to ground, the other side connects to the -VE side of the COR coil (where 'Fc' used to connect).
Yes you could use FPC to trigger a tachometric relay however.

A lot of carby cars years ago the fuel pump was switched with the charge light .
A simple small elecronics relay (not a big auto jobby as they draw too much thru the alt regulator) wired in paralell with the charge lamp , use the N/C contacts to switch the toyota COR.
