Default Torque wrench cheap but good?

I couldnt find a thread so im posting this,
Im looking at getting a torque wrench and wondering what others have used, I want something that is going to accurate but cheapish also.
If prices, brand and where you puchased can be posted it would be great.

I use a Teng Tools Torque wrench. Came with my tool box at work. Seen one at sprints for around 140-150.

Cheap and accurate don't really go together when your talking about torque wrenches.

Warren and Brown are good, Norbar are also good, Snap on are good. What size range do you want 1/2" drive, 3/8" drive. I've owned all three types listed above and never had any trouble.

Had a brand new Kincrome 1/2" given to me used it for about 3 months had it tested and it was so far out i had to throw it away, Kincrome was crap.

Yoy could try www.blackwoods.com.au or www.cltoolcentre.com.au or http://www.justtools.com.au/category169_1.htm

Unless you can get a cheap Torque wrench checked against a certified one, I would just go and buy a quality wrench outright.

I've got a Warren & Brown one and for $220ish its not a huge investment.

If you only need to use it once, maybe see if someone local to you has a quality one they'ld be willing to drop by and use for you.
