Timbosaurus just installed a Camaro MRA (basically in-tank surge and fuel pump setup with built-in regulator) in his RA28 fuel tank with some minor mods...

It's an awesome fit, hopefully he sees this thread and posts up a pic or 2...

I was searching for rover related stuff and found this neat idea on a MG forum...

Im not totally convinced that there is enough volume, but it wouldnt be too hard to make it an upsidedown 'L' shape to fit in the hole in the rear of a 28.

For general EFI car dutys , i cut up a mid 80,s EFI tank and weld all the bits into the top of the non EFI tank , its te neatest way as it looks 100% factory. You could still do it this way for track use depending on where in your current tank you could modify to fit the EFI pump bits .

as a random comment, I can say Linden's in-hatch surge tank results in no fuel smell/vapours in the cabin.

Best of both worlds. (except for noise - my in-tank 044 was almost completely dead silent. Apparently fuel makes a great coolant)

Tell that to it now, its surrounded by over 40L of fuel and it drives me insane,
but it is hard mounted to the cradle so that could be part of the problem.

Ill wrap it in foam next time i volunteer to pull the tank on the surf.

    nup that ain't gonna happen.
