    Default AE82 steering yoke replacement

Guys, I'm about to replace my lower steering yoke. Doesn't look like a huge job but does anyone have any tips on getting it out. Was having a quick look and thought I would start buy removing the steering rack bolts 1st that hold the rack onto the firewall. Thanks

just make sure you completely remove the 2x12mm bolts, dont just loosen them.
when installating, the shafts have machined sections for bolt thread clearance.

Ok thanks. But will there be enough room to get the yoke or uni out if I loosen the steering rack or is there another way is what I'm trying to find out.

yes. you have to remove the nuts and bolts x4 of the rack firewall only, it will just hang there.
