Im sure those with a bit of dexterity could still use the lockwasher on the ARP bolts, although not as ideal as a single hex nut, it would still serve a purpose and be very functional. Has anyone ever had problems with flywheel bolts coming lose tho?

Both Toyota and ARP use a dual hex shape - you lock the flat of the hex shape.

If you have an alloy flywheel - it has been reported that they can come loose due to unequal heat expansion of the two materials (steel bolts and and alloy flywheel).

Perhaps its not so much of an issue with a cast or steel flywheel and using ARP flywheel bolts with the correct sealer will suffice, but in race conditions it could be something as silly as a flywheel bolt that ends your race early.

Not all of these products are for everyone, but for people that want to race and minimise failures - these are the types of parts that are available.

I'm only really interested in the washer and retainer at present. Can't stretch the extra $$ for the forks as well.

Hi, just wondering, does that Genuine rebuild kit include seals also, and how are you sourcing it as a kit rather than individual bits, can you PM me part number if you have one?

Also does it include ALL the bearings or just the bearings of the one type in the box, I forget the exact terminology now

I've got tentative prices on the custom shifter forks and still waiting on the Cro-Mo Parts.

He said he would confirm on Monday for me, so I should know by Monday how much the package is going to cost.
