Top bloke, races an ET pulsar (not a chapel street one), and pretty keen. Told him I'd let him know when girls cars are welcome into the team
You would have met him at Winton when you yook your mini up.
What kinda car? How serious is he?

My CAMS license has expired along with the club rego I had it via.. You guys have anyone good that I can join up with and sort it out? Or best to renew with the club I was in? Bugger toymods doesn't do CAMS...
Well...You can download the TCCA form from the net, fill it in and send a cheque/money order. Then renew your cams lic over the phone/net.

But, in saying that - Most(All) the TCCA events are in Victoria - So you may as well join one that operates in your area(?).

Also, forgot to mention - There is a test and tune day at Winton on Friday the 18th of September for those interested. Runs all day from 10am - 430pm and costs $120. This is a very good opportunity to suss out any potential issues and give you a reasonable chance of sorting them before the event.
Alison is looking into the accomodation too - For those who don't wish to be camp with Ian. I mean camp with Ian. Or do I? Yeah, I really do. So, if you're requiring a bed somewhere stick your hand up now.

alison is welcome to stay at steves place in benalla
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Joel, there are some online style CAMS affiliated clubs that you can join for free. I chose TCCAV because it's a real club with real people and real events, but given that you're interstate and won't be able to come to many events you might prefer the free option?
Benalla Auto Club is a Cams affiliated club, and they own Winton, so you get into race medings that Winton run for free, like the V8's, Trucks, etc.
$90 per year.
Trev, that doesn't help Joel much as he lives in Newcastle, NSW...
Joel, stick with a local club up there, or just go for a AASA Licence and don't worry about the need to be with a CAMS affiliated club...
