wouldn't miss it I'll be around
Just a reminder, Tuesday will be another team meeting. If people could please download a copy of the regs of they haven't already from the aroca website we can go over the finer points, finalise team wear and car stickers, talk strategy and have a few drinks. Strongly suggest you all be there. Ian, can you please notify the rest of the rising sun race team that aren't on toymods.

You can join Benalla Auto Club (owners of Winton) who are a CAMS affiliated club for $90 per year, club membership gets you free access to all Winton run events like the V8's.
You can get a Club Licence through AASA (via Winton) for $50 per year. The only problem with AASA licences is that they only allow you to drive at AASA friendly tracks.
But that includes Calder Park, Winton, and Wakefield to name a few, and they also run events like the Targa Tasmania (if your lucky enough to get invited, and can afford the entry fees) and the Mt. Buller Sprints.
You also don't need to be part of a Car Club to get the licence for those that are trying to keep to a smaller budget for the 6 hour.
Yeah, spot on twentyeight, I should have made that clearer, you do not need to be afilliated with a car club to get a AASA licence.
Good to know.. I'm in the process of trying to renew my CAMs but the club is being slow.. So if worst comes to worst I can get the AASA licence on the day?
hi joel
maybe if you email your details etc to winton they may be able to organize it over the net

[QUOTE=shelldrake;959984]Hey guys,
Starting a new thread here instead of track talk so the Melbourne boys and girls don't forget about us.![]()
There is plenty of time before the 6hr (17th and 18th of October), but we need to start planning early. There is plenty to be done. Alot of it is car preparation and testing. There are also presentation things to be done(T-SHIRTS/Race stickers/Club Banners), game plans(We learnt alot last year), Club car need to be finished off.
Please post here if you are interested. We have two teams - - Last year we had a classic celica team and an others team. Maximum of 6 per team. Each team really need a manager to organise the team, a few time keepers, someone responsible for the timing board, plus a few helpers to line up cars, help do on the spot repairs, help us have fun on the Friday/Saturday night.![]()
