Slim has worked his arse off in developing t-shirt designs and ideas and we have been in talks with a local screenprinter to get exactly what we want. We have opted for long sleeve 100% cotton t-shirts, (so they are considered ok for racing), as well as the volunteers and supporters. They are a good quality garment that should last along a long time. Both teams shirts will be black - So they will hide any inevitable grease/dirt stains that are picked up along the way - with white/black designs except the Rising Sun team have Red in their shirts too.

The Celica Team design has the Winton racetrack on the front left pocket position, "Classic Celica" text along the RHS arm and the recognisable dragon symbol on the back.

The Rising Sun racing team, have the same front design, "Rising Sun" along the RHS arm and Slim's Red and White "Rising Sun" graphic on the back.

Slim will post the designs shortly. The cost will depend on the amount of interest in the shirts, as we have a minimum quantity that needs to be reached but we are aiming for $35-$45. I have several sizes of sample shirts that I will bring to the meeting on Wednesday night at Bell's hotel for people to try if they would like.

Due to the obvious expense of this exercise we need to confirm who would like one of these shirts and can commit to buying one. Could you please let myself or slim know asap. It would be fantastic if any friends or volunteers who are attending also wore the shirts to help get into the Team spirit of this event and help us win best presented team too!

I cant make tomorrow night's meeting guys sorry. My Nan passed away on the weekend so I am off to Sydney for the funeral and catching up with family.
