Just thought i'd post an update. The stupid jerks at Comfort Inn apparently messed up the booking Ed made. I'm now dealing with a different motel and am waiting to hear back from them. Seems like this other joint may be better anyhow.

Well, if you want to be in the same motel as the rest of us then i'll just allocate a double bed for you two but if you want to do your own thing that's fine too.

At the new place all rooms have a queen size bed and most have either an additional single or single plus fold-out couch. So, it really depends if the couples are happy to share the room with others. Otherwise it's the Comfort inn with their $100 twin rooms.

Accommodation booking and organising is continuing. Unfortunately we all won't be able to fit into the one motel. I hope that's not going to be an issue. If anyone wants to organise their own accommodation then let me know. Glider City Motel can fit all but 3 of us. So 3 will need to be at the Comfort Inn room that we previously have a booking for.

I don't think it will be an issue since we should be only sleeping there. I'm pretty sure no-one wants to have a late night before race day.

This is how i have organised the accommodation. It was very tricky to get everyone arranged so that the people with partners get double beds and the single dudes don't have to share with other dudes. I also made sure there was a decent sized group in the Comfort Inn so that there wasn't just two or 3 people left out of the main group. Having everyone in the same place just wasn't possible when booking this late.
