And I have done the simple checks hoping I don't join team BHG.
There are no signs of oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil....
Hey guys,
Today I noticed a fair bit of fluid leaking from the car.
On closer inspection i found it to be coolant.
It seems to be coming from the side of the block at the back just under the extractors.
The extractors were installed today, so did the guy that installed them knock anything??
Maybe heater lines??
When you listen closely you can hear air being sucked in....
Any ideas??
Oh an its a 7MGE....
Cheers,
Alex.

You just have to get in there and have a look.
You have heater hoses and steel pipes, welsh plugs and a coolant drain plug all in that area.
BTW What brand of headers did you get. The 7M goes really well with a header upgrade.
Yeah have to get under there tonight. just thought i'd pick the collective toymod knowledge base for any obvious places to start...
II have to ask what headers they are, but they are catalogue items for a MX83...
They need next to no modification to fit...
And yeah they it goes heaps better with them, and sounds a lot healthier too.
Cheers
Alex.

how much did u pay for yours?
did u get a whole exaust system or just the headders?
Just got the headers, cause the car already had the rest of the exhaust done when I bought it.
Got them for $550 fitted.... They needed a little bit of a mod to fit to the rest of the system, but not much.
Oh and found the leak... In one of the steel lines next to the block. just have to find where now.
Cheers,
Alex.

was it the o2 senser that had to be moved?
Obviously the o2 sensor is no longer anywhere near the stock location. It is much further down the headers, and to use the stock (read:really long) sensor some gentle firewall massaging had to occur, but i'll be replacing the sensor soon anyway...
The only other mod I can see is that the final pipe has been extended a bit more to reach the cat....

I had to move the O2 sensor when I fitted mine. I think they are designed to fit a supra and need a bit of work to fit anything else.
I also cut off the silly 2 inch outlet off and fitted 2.25 inch mandrel bends all the way to the cat.
