Well, it seems I've gotten my clutch pedal sorted (or else it's just psychological ), rotation of tyres (fronts are almost worn), fitting of new brake pads (should do that at work tomorrow so they get bedded in), & may take you up on that offer

BTW, anyone got a pair of 5mm spacers to suit a 5 stud they could bring just in case then?

This week's kinda blown past - only just realised i haven't confirmed the meet up for those of us heading down tomorrow night. I've just finished packing the car after getting home from post-work drinks and dinner...

Most of you know the location at the servo off the Brooks Rd exit off the Hume; for those of you who don't i'll post the maps tomorrow, but can anyone who's meeting us tomorrow check i've got you in the first post and confirm if 7pm suits? I picked it and then convinced her to buy it, she just drives it weekdays and pays all the running costs. I wash it and check for marks,scratches and stains whenever she brings it over and its not raining .

spare wheels packed (thanks Karl). Got some easy-outs off Rod, which hopefully will remove that bolt after work today... then swap the track pads in, swap the brake fluid..... eeeeesh

Yep - I used them when I towed to Melbourne & back & they make a massive difference. They put more weight on the front wheels of the tow car so probably just what you need.
