I fear my tow car is either allergic to towing, or WP, or both Damn charge light came on heading home...i assume alt is kaput? or could it just be the battery has given up the ghost?

This hiccup is going to turn an uncharacteristic organised week into the more normal fark, panic, too much shit to do type of week

Certainly seems your Bommadore has a fear of WP Justen...

Isn't the Celica a street car anyways? You could just drive it there

History to date would indicate that driving home is no issue either? Seems reliable at all events except maybe drags? (by glamour-model standards anyway )

Not true, your fundamental mistake is referring to Murphy as "he", when for sure Murphy must be female. Now raise your "pimp hand" and show that Celica who is boss Cause I won't be able to bail your ass out this time when your towcar fails!

Though a flat-tow with the "Corolla that could" isn't out of the question

trdee, was that a serious offer to let Karl flog your car if a spot comes up?
yes i was. but yes if you break it then theres gonna be some awkward moments so i understand the apprehension on witzl's part lol. id like to give it a go but i really cant afford the full fee, what with no job and all i am now on a strict budget.

and brendan, i called kyle up about it already, as we were gonna be driving down there together so it made sense to ask him first, but he's poorer than me atm

so if someone else puts their hand up first give them the place, unless i can get someone on board first

No worries guys, see how we go - for the time being first on the wait list is up for grabs.

And re the busy mad last minute rush we all suffer from, i may have found a cure! Just don't think about it or pay any attention to it. Assume a few weeks out it's probably good enough and don't worry about it.

I walked past it tonight and noticed it's a bit dirty, accepted the fact i wasn't going to have time to get it washed, and continued on. It may backfire on me badly in a few days but hey, i'm cruising.

Work on the other hand, not so much. Can't win em all though.

I am going to do an oil change tomorrow, but there are a couple of other things that i just won't get done, just hope they don't bite me.

Should probably check my oil level... can do that down there though. Need to find something to do on friday morning to make it feel like i've 'prepared' the car for the track. That, and drop my tyre pressures.

I'd just be happy for my car to get down there.
Found out tonight that the bolts through the front & rear engine mount were only finger tight
Still got a grating noise in the brakes (I think I may fit those new pads) & a clunk sometimes.
And the clutch seems wrong too...
