Default TA22 nuts, bolts, clips and the other small stuff

    Hey all,

After 2 1/2 years of the car sitting doing nothing other than collecting dust, i have started to work on it again.

Now my question is neither technical or conversion related so if it needs to be moved, then please do...

what i would like to know is if anyone knows or has a list of all the nuts, bolts, screws, clips, etc for the '22?

I was once told there are 150 odd (not including drivetrain) and was gonna get a complete set from Brisbane. The guy stopped responding so that fell through...

I also once had a '22 manual that listed it which i cannot find. I had 3 manuals and only got one that i can find and it is not the one. Does the Hanes manual list it?

anyway, if anyone knows or has a complete list please send it over as i want to buy all new nuts and bolts

    cheers

Easiest way would be to get a donor car POS that can be used for sourcing which bolts go where and use them as a basis to upgrade to newer ones if required. Just my opinion. I have never come across in my haynes manual anywhere that states the types of bolts ect used in the car.

    Cheers, Joey

mate can you check the manual again please. It is not clear cut...

from what i remember the manual i lost had a basic list of all the bolt types at the beginning of the manual with the first section of the part numbers.

Then throughout the book, each bolt listed the second section of the part number...

    cheers

oh and if i get another celica to the house the family will go ape shit... iv already had 3 come through and have taken all the nuts and bolts so i have 3-4 sets.

95% of the bolts are M6 with a 10mm head. Get yourself about a hundred of them and you'll be set.
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.

The problem is some JIC standard bolts can be hard to find in Aus.
The bolts sold in Aus quite often have different head sizes

For example, M8 bolts on Toyotas have 12mm heads, in Aus all M8 bolts ive bought have 13mm heads.
