Anyone know of a donor rear swaybar suitable from another car for my 22'? There was some word around that an AE71 fits but it has to be of a certain type?...

    Cheers, Joey

EDIT: whoops wrong thread Thanks for the info blake, trying to go the cheapest option lol so will try a donor one first if possible.

ok the purchase of the book fell through so i ended up goiing through the manual i have and literally listed every nut, bolt, washer, clip, screw and clamp. there are just under 600 in total...

now all i need is a copy of the pages like above so i can fully map it out...

Rosey can you help please? would you be able to scan the pages and upload them?

then i can share with all...

    cheers

Looking at my wreckers last weekend, I noticed that KE25's and TA22's share a lot of the body clips, in particular the door card clips. The plastic female plug in the door is the same between the two, the clips vary slightly though both rust.

However there was also a mid late 70's Corona there which also used the same female plastic plug but a far better design clip, of that brassy anodised finish metal. These were perfect and as brand new, and look unlikely to ever rust.

There is a guy on ebay that sells toyota landcrusier/hilux bolt sets. From what I could figure out if you bought one of those you would cover most of the bolts in a Celica... not sure if it sells for a good price though!

    Fade,
Haven't read this whole thread but somewhere I have all bolts used for the TA22 in my manuals. Most are 6mm thread. I should have part numbers somewhere to if you need them.

I replaced most of mine with stainless steel socket head bolts as I think these are better than the sotck toyota bolts which are plated mild steel.

    Cheers,
    Simon
