what gearbox in my liteace?

Hi everyone. Im just wondering what gearbox my liteace is fitted with?
I have searched and i think it should be a g-series, but im just after confirmation.
It is a 1985 ym21 liteace, 5 speed with the funny external van linkages, fitted with a 2y motor.
I am asking because im contemplating an engine conversion.
Would this gearbox take the adaptors/bellhousings, to suit a supra box or is it more like the celica box?

If you check the engine plates it should give you a gearbox code. I know that the corona lists w57 on its vin plate . Mabe the lite ace is the same?

Yes, check the build plate, could well be behind the driver's knees, just below the seat.

From what I read on here recently, it'll be a G52.

G52 is most likely, shares same bellhousing pattern as W55/57/58 so bellhousings for those motors will work.

my liteace (1991 1.8 litre 5 speed) had the G52.
