Arrow Fuel Injected with Carby lines/fittings..... ?

Looking for those who have done/seen this work fine on an N/A setup.

Obviously I doubt using the factory hose clamps to seal the EFI fuel line onto a carby line end wouldn't cut it with the line pressure at ~40psi...

But anyway, would using two correctly sized smooth inside surface, hose clamps actually seal the line from leaking at all ?

Will work fine assuming hard line is flared, you use decent hose clamps and EFI rated fuel hose is used.

Yes hard line ends are flared and EFI hose is mandatory. Thanks was hoping to I wouldn't have to pull of (and put back on) the lines to get them modified.

if in doubt, just get a barbed thingy with an olive fitting (or swagelok if you are fancy). the barbs will help resist it pullin goff more, and give better sealing.

the other option, is to use a olive fitting onto the hard line, and then have corresponding fitting on the flexible line, such that they just screw together. then the olive is doing the sealing.
i forget the name of the exact fitting... but i got them from enzed or pirtek.. whichever is not the crap one

Ah yes, I'm familiar with the olive fittings. Had to do it once with the water line out in the garden.

    Good tip !

just be careful tho, you are supposed to use a harder olive and fitting, then the line ti goes onto.. so if you have steel tubing, you should use stainless fittings and olives, rather than brass... you can use brass, but if you tighten them too much, they will break.

I have just made up new fuel lines for my hilux conv to 1uz, i used 5/16 or 8mm steel tube and at each end where i want to connect to hose the local hydraulics mob used the first procedure with their flaring tool without fully flaring it,it leaves a nice 'nipple' or barb to help retain the hose, looks good and works even better.
