Well, speak of the devil!
I just had an update call from the Dong, & things are going, how shall I say, about as smooth as Sydney road, ie, bumpy as all hell.
Nathans car is using shite loads of fuel, coFF33s car is using about the same amount of oil, and uzzio has a rattly clutch (suspect clutch fork to thrust bearing clip), but they are still on track to make it here tomorrow arvo some time.
It does however mean that tomorrow nights hills run & festivities might be exchanged for gearbox love & beers here at my place.
The roadtrip plan may be modified slightly to make up for any lost time, but I am assured we'll still be doing the GOR & stopping in with GT, all future updates will be posted as they come to hand.

Cruise control installation was going really really well, until I realised there was no hole in the firewall for the actuator cable.
Short work for the power drill though, I only have 1 plug to re-pin & the vac line to hook up then it's time for some testing. Damn I hope it works.....
