I just want the thing gone. Stitty was supposed to take it like 1-2 years ago.Originally Posted by YLD-16L

Not married
And I think I have resigned myself to the fact that the supe will be unveiled at either ToyFest or next year's Nats with the built motor and new turbo I have arranged...
Why would I put an NA head on a GTE??? (excuse my ignorance)
GE has better camsOriginally Posted by Kristel

So do we have an updated list of numbers attending/cruising?
CURRENT CARS: AE86-SR20DET, MX22-2M, JZS147-2JZGTE, AE86-4AGE , AE71 Panelvan-4AGTE, Peugeot 504- XN1
I have updated the list on the first post as I hear people are attending. Its looking like a bumper crowd!
Justen..have you decided not to leave early and just cruise with the rest of us. We will be only taking it easy mate so happy just to stick together as a group.
Also, Ash has called Beer Oclock on Tusday night at Erindale Viking (see post under ACT Events) so if you want to know more about Dubbo exploits etc...come along!
Cheers
Mitch

Sorry guys, but we won't be able to travel with you all - my mum won't be down here in time (she is looking after the little one for the weekend) for us to get away to the meet spot.
A little info for the first timers travelling from, Canberra to Dubbo.
Actual travelling time is roughly 5.5hrs.
If you are not out to break any speed records and fuel consumption is important, just follow one of the guys towing a trailer. The Celsior did 8litres per 100k last year following the black Crown on the trailer.
Leave Hall at 9:00am,
First stop is either Macca's at Yass, or the Driver reviver centre in Boorowa, which is a little over an hour from Hall.
Second stop is at Cowra Macca's, which is a little over 2 hours from Hall.
Cowra is the most likely place for the group to get seperated, so just follow the next set of instruction.
Leave Cowra Macca's head toward the Cowra city centre and go over the bridge. Hang a sharp left at the 1st traffic lights over the bridge, and a further sharp left at the next traffic lights.and just follow the route 81 signs.
If you get lost holler on the CB, or find a sign that says Canowindra and head north.
After hitting Canowindra, we then go through a couple of smallish towns Cudal,Molong, and then onto the Mitchell Hwy (32) to Wellington and Dubbo.
cheers Chuck.
ps. If I have screwed up the directions can someone PM me so I can change them.

Fingers crossed for little to no roadworks...

Thats it Chuck...with weather like this I just want to get going now. How about we skip Yass Maccas this year but definately stop at Boorowa for smoko and Cowra Maccas for lunch (park out the back as usual).
Hot tip -----> bring along a CB as it make life easier to navigate and a lot more fun listening to Shano and his warped sense of humour. So go buy a cheap set and charge them up now!!!!
Cheers

Agree with skipping Yass unless people need to check trailer tie downs etc.Originally Posted by TWEETY

Thank you all for deleting Yass. I could not agree more. Really we are only on the road for 30 mins or so before stopping at Yass!.
cheers Chuck.
