For fucks sake, this is rediculous.
What model Commodore is it? Later ones DO use a hydraulic clutch system.
Why is it so hard for you to construct a post that actually has any form of structure, or any real information about the car/problem?
thanks wilo that rules out changing clutch fluid

hey vlas,
your oviosly new to this sort of forum thing
this is what your message should read eg.
1996 vs commodore 3.8 sedan, 5 speed manual trans
problem- not engaging any gears when clutch pedal is applied...ok
we dont give a shit what type of car it is, we'll still happy to get you out of a jam.
if your honest up front you wont aggrivate people, fair enough...
Vlas: Make sure car is turned off. Foot firmly on brake. put car in first gear if there is nothing in front of the car for >10meters or reverse if there is nothing on the back of the car for > 10meters. Press clutch pedal in. repeat the said process again to be sure. Always maintain a presure on the foot pedal.
If your not cofident and have even the slightest of safety issue('s) please do not attempt the next step you can always take the car to a mechanic.
crank engine for "1" second only. if it jerks like it shouldn't. then start by looking at the clutch cable and i believe holden's have a massive dust cover at the bottom of the bell housing, Take that off and have a look see.
As mentioned, newer Commodores DO run hydraulic systems. VT Series 2 onwards I do believe.
VS Series 2 onwards are hydraulic. Hence the need to know what 'commo' it is.

Get a Toyota. Solved! Close thread.
oh wow, im in this one to the end. very amusing thread A+
my bet is on clutch cable/pedal needing adjustment, or a heap of air in the clutch fluid.
to give a response as vague as the posts by the OP have been, your clutch is fucked.
