I did reseal the auto before it went in.
If change my gears manually its a pretty firm shift with very little slip but if i leave it in Drive 1st to 2nd is a sloppy shift where as 2nd to 3rd good and so on.
Can you get me yr ecu part no Brett.

ill chase up the part number in the next week or so.

my auto shifts really firm and will easily chirp the tyres or break traction if you try. then again, i have 215/65/14s

Could this be that one of my speed sensors is stuffed then? On my rear ext housing there are two speed sensors, one mag pickup type one and one mechanical type geared wheel one. Does anyone know where I can get an A340 magpickup type one from, cause my mechanical seems fine upon checking it visually.

I'm guessing the ECU is getting two different inputs from the speed sensors, and then defaults to the one. Could this explain things.

Another thing I forgot to mention was, is my speedo doesn't work until after about a minute of driving around. As if it needs to warm up? If I then switch the car off and come back straight away it works fine. But if I come back say after about a hour, it doesn't work until about a minute of driving around? Could this be a speed sensor conflict, that the ECU defaults to the one that works. Doesn't really explain why the auto shifts perfectly without a working speedo and no speed sensor input to the ECU telling it when to shift??

Is this ECU or speed sensor or both?
