    Default 1UZ Autobox differences

Hey guys i have done a search but cant find the info im after.

Ive got a 1uz motor and gearbox from a UCF11, the gearbox has the donut style 3 bolt tail shaft which i dont want to use.

    I have found a slip yoke style 1uz gearbox from a Uzs131.

So my question is will the UZS131 work with the electronics on my ECU of can i un-bolt and swap the rear sections of the gearboxes.

    thanks DenZel!

I read the thread and just need to clear up a few things:

    1. it says source a "UZS131 box(and TC)"....whats a TC?

    2. Whats the "slight speed sensor rotor mod"? I wouldn't mind keeping the cable speedo out put on the UZS131 box.

    3. Will the electrics from the UZS131 plug into my UCF11 loom and work with my UCF11 computer?

All the electrics are compatible except the rear speed sensor (SP2) which the ecu uses to shift gears (will throw an O/D OFF light code if its not working).

I've run a UZS131 box off a Soarer ecu (same as Celsior ecu autobox wise).

thanks for that info CrUZida, im now contemplating going manual. Ive read that you said in a thread that you can make the UCF11 ecu run a manual box, where do i find this info or who can do it for me?

    thanks

Just put a manual behind it. All will be well.
This notion that the 1UZ ecu can't run a manual is nothing but a myth created about 5+ years ago, and has not yet died.
