Considering that only about 3 people on here have actually owned them (& 2 of them were the Caldina wagon), that's not surprising.
What are you trying to do?

What are you trying to do?
The cars not starting and there is a broken wire that the sparky doesn't know where it goes to so before the car gets pulled apart would like to try find what that wire does.

Describe some symptoms.
Cranks?
tries to run but stalls?
where is this wire?
pics?
Theres one black&red wire from ignition there is no power to it and we don't know where it goes. Car does start, crank, or run .
if the car doesn't crank, you can cut down by a LOT the options of what could be wrong
What spec car have you got?Originally Posted by wcipowa
The one I had was the lowest spec.
You're talking about the wires that are on the back of the ignition switch?
Has bypassing the switch been tried?
ie there should be one power wire, then an accesories wire, "On" wire, "start" wire.
Of course, the auto-lec should already know this & have tried that.
Really, your only choice for the wiring diagrams is to google it & see if they're on other websites (doubtful), or buying them from Toyota.
If you ask nicely, they may even give you a copy of the relevant stuff. I've got info from Holden that way before.
