Default Thinking of a new fuel pump, which brand?

    Hey guys,

Doing some preventative maintenance and replacing the 21 year old fuel pump in the Camry.
Repco's got a few on the shelf for $207, and have either a Bosch or a Fuelmeiser?

Which is the better one to get or is there no real difference? Whats your experiences with standard replacement pumps.

    Thanks!
    Kind Regards,
    Kurt.

if you can get one, try a 3sgte pump. does the job for me and the beams, so i'm sure it'd suffice for your needs too

Direct swap too so no messing about

I'll keep that one in mind...i'd dare say they'd be harder to find. Any advantages using that one over the V6 one?

If your car has had only clean fuel thru it the orig pump can do 50000klm klm .
Ive cut open a few pumps at various hundreds of thousands of klm and they only sem to fail from dirty fuel seizing up the pump shaft .

try to size it for your need........ you don't need a 255 lph pump... all it'll do is cause problems(at the very least... fuel heating... at worst... could screw up idle and off idle performance)

fuelmeiser arent as good as bosch. we get a fair few warranty claims on the fuelmeisers ( i work at repco).

I'd go a bosch or preferably an original denso. Petrojet are on rooks rd nunawading.

Yeah as i said, i'm not going for any high performance pumps, just a standard replacement pump. No need for anything better.

Awesome. I'll call Petrojet and see what they can do for me, and if the price isn't good (ie. too high) then ill go for the Bosch.

    Cheers for the opinions!
