    Default jza70 charcol canister vac/fuel lines ?

    hey guys,
    im using a charcol canister from a jza70 and im just wanting to know where the hoses go on the cannister.
    the way i have it set up at the mo is that when the car is running the bottom barb has vacuum and i dont think thats right, if its ment to have vac where should it go ?

    Bottom barb is a vent.

    Only the top ones get connected.

    As CrUZida say's ....

    I'm not sure on which fittings go where, but in saying that some cannisters have it cast into them as in purge etc .. Main thing though is that the Vacuum source needs to be ported Vacuum as in no vacuum at idle & increases as rev's / throttle increases .. Ported vacuum source is taken from the throttle body around the butterfly area .. There will be a fitting on the throttle body ..

    The fitting will be denoted 'E'

    Also, have a look at some 91/92 M/GA70/Z20 engine bays to see what goes where.

    thanx guys,
    yeh most have it written on them vac/purge/vent but this one didnt, im shaw i have it connected correctly.
