1G into TA22 mounts question

Hey all,
OK so I'm putting a 1ggze into a TA22. Today I was planning on fabricating some engine mount brackets to bolt to the 1G block that will utilise the original 2T engine mounts and unmodified '22 cross member.

But I've had a thought.

Am I better off modifying the crossmember so that I can use the original 1G engine mount brackets and engine mounts?

Thoughts anyone?

I'd say you would want to go with the simplest option.

Step two call and get the OK from you engeneer.
