    Default TA22 problem! low engine!

the sump in my stock 2T ta22 was touching the cross-member, i shimmed the engine mounts a few mil to stop it touching. The rubbing in the mounts is very bulged and defiantly has lost some hight.
Can anyone with experience tell me if the engine could be that low just from old mounts? or is there something wrong with the way my engine is sitting? maybe accident damage? if i buy new mounts will it be the correct hight?

also, are TA22 engine mounts available?

I had the same problem a little while back. Try the engine mounts first as it sounds like they are near the end of the line. That should (hopefully) make it all good. If not them whack a shim plate in. I had the plates put in (I am Mr uber electro-mechanical gumby) for me, solved the problem.

You may need to get after market mounts but someone with more wisdom than I should be able to help there.
