Can't.. As you could change something overnight and it'd need scrutineering again... Unfortunately... I don't think it'll be a large issue though...Originally Posted by JustenGT8
Or maybe we can.. I'll have to ask a question or two of CAMS to find out...
It's just what they did for the drags in years gone by and definitely sped things up. I take your point, just given the err lower level of seriousness for this event the odd rule bend would make life easier for you is all?Originally Posted by DARKMAZE

fwow: the QRC and club-level rallies up here have pre-scrutineering ... but gravel-rally kids are a rather trusting bunch are many are more in it for the participation than outright points...
Also, I can't make this year due to finances (e.g. the lack thereof) ... am not sure how many Qlder's are making the trip down so it might be a lonely trip down for Simon.
Change what though is my question? The rules are fairly open anyway.
We'd have to drag any parts up to Dubbo with our sorry asses, it's like not there's any speed shops that are going to be open on Easter Sat night... In Dubbo of all places![]()

Rallying does have penalites though if you're caught, like loss of season points. Also has stricter regs on vehicle mods.
Pretty sure the Mattara hillclimb has scrutineering Friday night with the events running all day Saturday and Sunday.

I'm sure we could arrange some appropriate drinking penalties for Sunday night, in the spirit of Toyota nationals.Originally Posted by wagonist

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tanks of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
