yea i just found that aswell, i would go for something like this,
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/T2-TO-T4-TURBO-FLANGE-ADAPTER-for-INTERCOOLER-CARS_W0QQitemZ370126270021QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Ca r_Parts_Accessories?hash=item370126270021&_trksid= p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A 1318

but even a 5yo can weld that up, plus i want there to be a SMOOTH transition from round to rectangle, not the way it is in my link,......which would =turbulent flow, increased heat, something that isnt effiecient!

    ill continue looking for now

i am coming to the conclusion that it is a t4 cold side on a T3 hot side, can anybody confirm??

    dimensions
    xhaust inlet
    4.5X5.5cm

    bolt spacing
    8.5X4.cm, middle to middle

    flange size (external)
    7x11cm

    if that helps at all.

    manifold dimensions are:

    exhaust out (diameter)
    6cm

    exhaust flange
    9.2X10cm

    bolt spacing
    8x7cm

time for a custom adapter me thinks, ill start mocking something up tonight, unless somebody can help.

    thanxs guys

those adapters are poo, if you just want 2 plates welded to some tube then fair enough but it wont flow well.

Have you looked at the adapters i make? solid billets machined to suit the application.

if you want a 1off i can do it but they ain't the cheapest, i can however say that it will last forever (well, longer than the car)

as i said earlier, yours is a CT26 Round pattern and it needs to be converted to a T3 or GT3#, that i can 100% confirm.

wow man, those adapters are pure billet sex!! $250 is more than i payed for the turbo itself!!

i guess that price would probably be less than a one off adapter for me??

ill have a look at wat else i can come up with, thanxs linden

    heyas again,

i had this whack set of ideas!

    1. Get a ct26 flange plate made up, weld it directly onto the t3 flange, and machine out the 7mm odd on each side the give the t3 flange and bit more of a cirular shape....

    2. cut off the t3 flange and weld on the ct26 flange, and, do the exhaust inlet mod as written above.

    3. Buy one of Lindens custom made pure billet sex ct-gt adaptors

    4. buy a Ct26 and be done with it!

for the first 3 options ill have to rotate the compressor housing to clear the manifold, 3rd maybe not, depending how thick the adaptor is!

    wat do you guys reckon??

The only thing i can think of is the constant heat cycles the welds would be going through, anything else i have missed??

why not just get an ebay manifold, they are about the same price as the adapter, sure their strength may not be the best but 1jz people use them all the time.

Options 1-3 pretty much remove any value the turbo has, and it's not exactly a brand name item - is this turbo really worth the effort over a CT26?

    heyas, again

im looking at buying a highmount 7mgte manifold, but it has a t4 flange and was wondering if i could buy a adaptor, or if it would be better off buying a t3 flange and cutting off the t4 flange and then welding on the t3??

    thoughts? ideas?

    anything will help
