Identifying my 4agte problem

cars fixed guys .. turbo was replaced and found a short in my coil pack wiring.. when it wanted more spark it would arc out with the rocker cover, causing 2 cylinders to drop out..

Hah! I wouldn't have thought of it if I had read this but I've seen this before. GTiR had lead shorting on the top mount which only happened on boost, had the same symptoms. I don't understand why it happens, does the spark get stronger?

i am assuming so as the engine is calling for more fuel/air it needs more spark

fuel pressure.

check your reg - odds are it's running around 30psi - either replace it with another 4agze reg or fit an aftermarket unit
