    Default Coolant in my cylinders.

Yes, there is large amounts of coolant in cylinder's 2 and 5.

Compression test is pretty bad all round too.

Head gasket? Cracked block? is there and easy way to inspect which is screwed?

Time to put a 1jz in the z20?

machine head at a minimum and put arp bolts in.

if sticking with 7m take engine out, deck block, machine head, arp bolts and mhg.

    Not 7m, 1ggte.

IMO, not worth keeping the 1g.

    Will go 1jzgte or 7mgte.

Chemi-weld may give you a temporary fix and keep you mobile. I'm just going through this exercise now myself with my 1G-GZE.

    COMPRESSION RESULTS: 1GGTE

    CYL 1 - 170PSI
    CYL 2 - 165PSI
    CYL 3 - 170PSI
    CYL 4 - 170PSI
    CYL 5 - 170PSI
    CYL 6 - 165PSI

We worked out my old compression tester wasnt working well, so we tested again.

These results dont make me think BHG? Its all very good?

    Water pump is dead/dying.

Where does one find a replacement?

I did have, probably do again. The 1G is now a steam engine, according the the exhaust.

Runs like shit, water pump is fucked, headgasket is quite obviously fucked.

Its ok though, as its coming out tomorrow to make way for the 1jay.
