Wondering if it'd fit upto an ST205 box... or even an ST215 box.
It'd solve my towing torque problem big time

yep, that looks to be basically identical to what I have here. That makes life much easier that it's already uploaded somewhere.

The Jimco 2000 buggy, which competes in the Pro class of the Australian Off-Road Championship, is fitted with a modified twin-turbo Toyota engine that generates 600kW at the flywheel.

The Jimco 2000 is piloted by successful Australian off-road driver, David Fellows.

The Toyota 2GR-FE VVT-i 3.5-litre V6 engine chosen by the buggy’s owner, Peter Kittle, also powers Toyota Aurion, Tarago, new Kluger and RAV4 V6.

The Jimco 2000 is fitted with a pair of Turbonetic turbochargers that are each rated to 450 horsepower.

“The new 3.5-litre engine has a very strong bottom-end, with its six-bolt main steel crankshaft which we run unmodified,” Mr Kittle said.

The engine was built by Shane Wilson, owner of Shane Competition Engine Development in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

He fitted Pankyl H-beam billet con-rods, CP pistons and PSI valve springs, all made in the USA.

The Toyota cylinder heads have been extensively modified including Team Kittle’s own custom camshaft profiles, and modified exhaust valves with larger valve stems.

Sitting atop the heads is a custom-fabricated aluminium intake manifold.

The team worked with Turbonetics in the USA to calibrate the turbochargers to the Toyota’s specifications and the spread of power desired by the Kittle team.

The Jimco 2000 weighs 1350kg and features Fox shock absorbers with Eibach springs.

The twin-turbo intercooled engine produces 600kW at 18psi boost in prologue trim, and 485kW at 10psi boost in race trim.

The engine has a Motec m880 management system with an ADL Motec digital dash with full data acquisition capability, and electronic adjustable turbo boost control.

My understanding is that the Evora launched at that recent British motor show had the standard 6 speed auto 'box fitted to it, and that Lotus were 'considering' developing a manual at some later stage, but it was not confirmed at that time. Has this changed now?

I didn't realise that, I thought they were using a Manual gearbox.
It's not very lotus like to have an auto... but I suppose this is a 4 seater as well, perhaps that auto was so it was more 'family friendly'.

Yes, 'family' has been mentioned with this car in either a Lotus press release or a journo's review of the thing. It will have child restraint anchor's in the rear, and the rear seats are suitable for kids up to about 12. It's intended role is to be a Lotus for the family man, one that the wife can drive and take the kids to school, and still be cool enough for track days on the weekend for Dad!

Team Kittle do not vary the cam timing nor do they use the drive by wire throttle.
There is a normally aspirated one in a Jimco buggy in SA on Motec. They do not use the drive by wire . I am not sure whether they vary the cam timing.

An Autronic sm4 will run the cams but not the throttle.

the Jimco in S.A with the 2gr-fe belongs to Rick Bramley and he uses a motec ecu and has the cams working properly and uses a commodore throttle body, I spoke with him the other week and he said that they get about 165kw at the rear wheels.

Seen similar things with the Nagari as well, various places stating that it has a manual transaxle, other places saying it's got the 6-speed auto from the Aurion too. Also whether or not it has the supercharger as well.

It doesn't have the Supercharger, but no doubt it shall in due course just like the Exige did.

And I'd love to see it happen.
If the V6 would fit easilly into the AW I would have gone that way myself but the thought of cutting and shaping the rear firewall to fit it in turned me off.

Should slot very nicely into the SW20 though
Could be an interesting proposition for the ZZW30 as well... sub 1000kg MR V6... hmmm

Was referring to the Nagari for the supercharger, not the Evora.
