    Default 1GGTEU oil filter

'Spose like most of us I have been using a z418 for my 1GGTEU over the past 10 years (on all 3 motors). Today I decided to get a Toyota part - 00 to 03 Camrys are also listed z418 in the Ryco catalog. The parts bloke at Toyota looked up the 1GGTEU in his 'imports book' and had one specifically listed for the GA70/1GGTEU - they had one, which I have purchased. Anyone aware of any advantages on using the OEM part? I can remember doing some research several years ago on oil filters for my boat diesel and there were significant difference in the performance of different filters.

Also for all you that have fitted oil coolers to their 1GGTEU I would be interested in what you actually purchased and where you managed to get it.

    Thanks Craig
