worse case scenario belt will slip off if it is that bad lol

But having said that 1ggte are a non interference engine so if that did happen your piston wont crash into your valves lol

loose bolt? letting the centre flog out?
also, check for a failed tensioner.. might be good time to replace it..

Hey guys,

I got a 1GGTE that has a bit of a whining sound, not sure what it is yet, but i was driving it today and got home and realised the sound, it stays there when you rev it and is semi loud on idle, car still drives and boosts fine, doesn't change whether clutch is in or out, i was thinking bushes in alternator? any one else got any other ideas?

Nah OC bolt tight i checked that, Going to replace it this weekend with my adjustable ones, the inlet one looks fine tho, i should get a vid of it tomoz.

Lol nah me G/F pretty good lol doesn't whine much
