It`s a 7m, problem identified
ok guys here is the deal
i might have bought another soarer lol
anyway this is the deal. apparently it was running fine 2 wks ago
it has a flat battery. went to start it and its outa petrol.
so they put sum petrol in it
still no kick over
so now i found there is no spark and no injector pulse
so i tried new ignighter and new ecu
still nothin
you recon it could be the dodge alarm system in it sum how immobalising it??

its quite possible that the alarm system is causing it, considering if nothing but the battery has been changed...U can try turning the alarm off and trying it again.....if not then it could be a blown fuse??
fiddle around with the alarm, disconnect the battery, confuse it a bit, see if anything changes, reconnect if after a while, try to start it??
try mashing the buttons on the alarm handpiece until sumthin out of the ordinary happens??

wat sort of alarm is it?
have you searched for a killswitch or a button immobilser eg under drivers seat or in the glove box etc some alarms have them fited like viper alarms etc
also maybe try checking your earth wires from neg cable ect if there is a fryed wire or if its not earthed properly it wont crank

take battery out and rip out the under tray near the coloum barrel and re wire it to by pass the alarm just incase...pretty easy![]()

When you say it doesn't kick over i am assuming it cranks but just doesn't start? or do you mean that it doesnt even crank - which may suggest dodgy starter, alarm system/immobiliser prevent starter trigger circuit, earth from engine to body non existent/broken....
If it cranks then i would be looking at alarm system (as you said you had replaced ECU & ignitor). As GA70 said take out near steering column, normally black box and wire without alarm. Do all your other electrics work fine? - as this may suggest blown fuse. When wiring up the 1G all it took was one power wire to injectors (relay) into ECU to not be hooked up that prevented the engine from starting. This could be easily tapped into with a single point immobiliser - maybe get a wiring diagram out for wiring colours? If you get lucky the alarm wont be all black wiring

its in jap writing and its a paging one cause i see an antenna thing and its got no remote
but yeh ill see if i can bypass the alarm

no spark and no injection would suggest the crankshaft position sensor is faulty. is it in the dizzy on these ? can you borrow one to test ? and yeah, fuck the alarm right off. pos things.

man if you cant find any killswitches/ immobilisers and you have no blown fuses
and your plugs dont have spark
have you checked the alternator aswell as injector box for power?
i went out to start my supra once after three weeks of sitting and would crank over for ever but not start checked fuel
every where i checked there was power but wouldn start
so i chucked the battery on charge next day fired straight up just a thought
how much charge is in the battery in volts
also wit the coilpack connections are they all in good cond no fryed connections etc
the bat is dead so ive got my v8 next to it running with good jumper leads on it givin it full power

dont wanna be negative nelly but have you checked the water in the battery and made sure the cells are ok if the battery is REALY JUST DEAD then it wont start no matter how much charge is in it![]()
but if i got jumper leads comin str8 from a car thats runnin it gives it full charge wont it

another thing is to swap the battery out of the V8? ive had issues where I had my other car beside it and it still wouldnt start by jumper leads so i swapped out the battery and she kicked into life..... alarm is quite easy as they have tapped into wires which are color coded....just a matter of reconnecting the original wires together and ditching the alarm.
