1uz on boost

planning a tt 1uz, just stumbled upon a setback, which generation 1uz do we start with???

Kinda have three engines available to chose from without buying another one:

1) the engine in my van which cam out of a celsior
2) the engine out of my '91 soarer
3) the engine out of my '95 soarer

All of these have done less than 100,000kms and will be going into a friends project

I'm thinking the celsior one would be the best bet, think they have 10.1:1 cr, and stronger rods?????

Yeah, just the externals on the crown are different with its smaller injectors etc.

The earlier ones have lower compression and stronger rods if your staying standard internals they would be best.

The Celsior/LS400 runs the same injectors as the Crown.
Its just the Soarer that runs larger injectors (~15%)
