yeah the two i had in mind were the ST040 and ST050. i knew the other two were corolla/starlet based, but posted them up anyway since they fit the physical dimensions![]()
AE would be spoontah or fwd corolla
EP is fwd starlet..
they are probably underdamped for a markII
Shock Absorber 48511-ST050 G 2 4-stage adjustable rate 3244/1049N
from 48000-ST0B0 kit = corona4wd/celica ST205
not sure on the ST040
4 way adjustable ST050 from a GT4 celica ST205 seems good.. they ar eprobably made by tokico or KYB anyway... if you can fin dthem it would be cheaper probably.

i guess the next issue (apart from just using the part number at toyota) is finding them as they are a particular thing for a particular TRD strut.
i reckon tho, if you go to toyota armed with that part number, they can order it in for you.

its the closest thing to fitting so its worth a shot anyway.. i expect the price to be a bit gut wrenching though haha.
may be pleasantly surprised though![]()
i "think" i have some short Jic damper insert at the shop but ill have to double check.
they were removed from a set of z20 coilover so the damping would be able to cope with a heavy car but may be too harsh.
ill see what i can find.
cheers

To answer an earlier question you can download a gabriel catalog from here.
body length 299mm
shaft travel145mm
seat section (upper hat +spacer) 35mm
thread length 35mm
overall length 514mm
body dia 45mm
shaft dia 22mm
These were from the Front of a Z20 (JIC Coilovers) so ill let you decide if they will be too harsh or not.
bumpstops, gland nuts, spacers and top nuts also included.
if they sound like what you want/need then check your PM's
Cheers
