Contact http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/
They are the importer for Autometer and should have the information you need.
Give Rocket Industries a try, but I'm guessing their answer will be sorry mate, not possible, buy a new one.
Parafin wax is what a mate used in his, although it was forever leaking and he ended up just buying a new one.
thanks for your help guys...

Hi, what's the OZ language translation to usOFa speak for 'paraffin wax'(sp)??
Kerosene? Petroleum based liquid for lamps & heaters & jet fuel over here.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerosene
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraffin_waxKerosene or paraffin oil (British English, not to be confused with the waxy solid also called paraffin wax or just paraffin) is a colorless flammable hydrocarbon liquid.

well i don't think you'd want paraffin wax, its solid at room temperature.
liquid paraffin is also known as :mineral spirits, adepsine oil, alboline, glymol, paraffin oil, saxol, or USP mineral oil. its weird. i'm not sure exactly what it is, the bottle i have just says paraffin liquid. we use it as a laxative for the cat when he has problems haha

Rocket industries refill them, Mate of mine works for them and does the gauge repairs. Ive had a few of mine refilled and modified by him over the years.Originally Posted by KLR16V

I believe you're thinking of mechanical oil pressure gauges etc which actually have an oil line running through the cabin.....those are illegal. Can't comment on liquid filled ones though, they could be illegal tooOriginally Posted by love ke70
