Default Horn Fuse Location in KE70

    Hi,

May I ask where if the KE70 has a fuse for
its horn, and if it does, where it is located ?

My horn gave out today. The the wireman had added
a relay for it some time ago, which seemed to be OK
on checking. Both horns also seemed to work fine
    on testing.

    I drive a 1981, 4K engine, Malaysian "DX" model.

    Thanks.

I have managed to find the fuse located here, in the
    engine compartment's fusebox.

Seems the hazard lights and horn share a common 10A fuse.

But I wonder why my hazard lights are working while my
    horn is not ?

From memory, there is an extra fuse on the horn feed below the battery (or in that area), follow the wiring and see what you find. I had a real bugger of a time finding that on a mates car a few years ago.

Thanks for the info. Will try looking for this
    extra fuse.

My car's aircon man too had a hard time locating
the source of the fault. The internal wiring from the
connectors under the dashboard to the horn buttons
worked fine. The combination horn/hazard fuse was
alright too, and there was power supply from the
battery's positive terminal to the horns.

This meant there was a break in connection from the
wiring from the relay's terminal to the horn buttons,
    which was earthed to negative.

So he just took out an extra wire and bridged this
gap. The horn worked after that.

I guess it must be this second fuse you mentioned
which burnt out and caused this break.
