Hey all

Since ive put my replacement gbox in it wont shift easily until about 5-10mins of driving, after that its perfect..... i usually wait till the car has heated up to a couple of bars above cold before i take off.

Ive noticed also on a couple of occasions it will shift fine for a minute then it wont go in without some force it. It doesnt always grind just occasionally most times its just really hard to push in

Clutch seems to be fine i mean it didnt do it with the other box and u can hear the centre plate jingling and the clutch slave is full of fluid.

Im not using the original shifter that came with the box because its a different shape and hits the console so im using the soarer one from my other w58

When i installed the box 2.4 litres of 75-90w went in like it says in the supra manual. Also put some nulon gearbox treatment in aswell.

Any ideas anyone?

EDIT actually i just thought of something i was using genuine toyota clutch/brake fluid stuff when i first converted the car to manual and on the 2nd swap over i put some random stuff in from the shell down the road it seemed a bit thicker, would that make a difference at all? maybe after driving a bit the heat from the engine bay might affect it? just a thought.
