Maybe stiffer springs than stock?
Both/either of those can cause the problem you describe.
*Edit- and occasionally excessive rebound in the rear dampers, too.

dont drive in the wet
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are
get a daewoo, problem solved.
You should shelve your car keys and start catching the bus.

There's a difference between driving hard, and driving like an idiot. Better way to describe my driving is a bit swift. Idiotic would be deliberately trying to spin the wheels in the wet / on public roads. The other thread where I was doing skids was not done on public roads.
Billzilla I have JZA70 Bilsteins all round, not sure whether the springs are stock or have been cut, but ride feels very stiff. The front shocks feel more stiff, and the rears are a bit softer.
How many 'non public' roads have gutters?

This was when I hit the kerb and bent my rim, about 3 months ago. This was on a public road. When my engine turned off recently as described in the other thread, was not on public streets or carparks.
That was only that one time and I learnt my lesson, if you have seen the pictures of the rim.
And this time when I was driving on the streets and losing a lot of traction, no I wasn't flooring it or trying to lose traction.
less right foot is all i have to say. i can even get my stocker as k55 with 4k to spin in the wet soo might need to drive a little more gentle.

Yeah, All the other times in the wet I've never had traction problems, and then yesterday I'm hardly able to drive leading me to think there might be something wrong with my suspension setup or tires.
The same roadway or something new/repaved? If it at the beginning of the first rain in a long time, then it is really slick until all those built up deposits are washed away.then yesterday I'm hardly able to drive
What's the pressure? Have you tried any other/s?
What's the tire wear like - any cupping feathering, located inside outside center or combination? Does it have a mounting direction - an arrow?
To me, some tires just work way different in the wet when it's accelerating & turning & braking when compared to dry. Maybe the engineers bias it that way for potential safety/ liability issues.
'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!
try putting some narrow wheels on the back.
hello
seriously: go outside - look at rear wheels and their orientation of wheels to bitumen and car, then report back here.
pool room: i can do skids in the wet with my diesel ute, i either use less right foot or enjoy the hilarity/stupidity of the drift-ute-of-death while it's raining.
