Toyodiy is great, only thing there is no difference in part numbers for the Soarer z20 Series 1 and Series 2 Taillights, Probably a fault when Toyota made the diagrams and listings I guess.
I made a thread about it on here if anyone would like to have a quick look.

I hope they don't take the diagrams off, It's actually more beneficial to Toyota as customers can readily know what part numbers they want, and will bring more sales of Parts.

It is a shame.
a while back I cut and pasted the part numbers and diagrams into a word doco for my ae86 and ae111(this took a while), so if for some unknown reason this site disappeared I'd have the parts inventory for my cars, glad I did it now
The other day I ordered and bought a number of parts for my ae111, it was this site I used to get the part numbers, so have to agree with others, this site is actually beneficial to Toyota.
I got the entire EPC to 1995 on my computer which I use a lot for searching by part number, but whenever I'm not at my computer (like at work) I use the site heaps. All my orders are made while I'm at work, and I use the site to get the numbers I need, the Toyota guys prefer it that way so they don't run the risk of getting the wrong part. (They know me by name now...)
I've easily spent thousands on new parts from Toyota that wouldn't have happened without that site.
Can North America Toyota push their weight around for Jap only cars???
Toyota USA is LAME......
There are too many "American" car exectutives buried in the bureacracy. They think they can manipulate the market, instead of re-thinking, re-organizing, and re-developing the product. PERFECT example of American influence... the VENZA......... big fat tub o'lard

What I don't get is the website allows people to get genuine Toyota part numbers and go into a genuine Toyota dealership and buy genuine Toyota parts in which to fix their genuine Toyota car.
About the only way Toyota can lose is from lost workshop labour, as people are more inclined to do DIY - yet this even doesn't make sense because chances are if you're looking up the numbers yourself, you're the kind of person to fix it yourself in the first place, so the labour cost is already gone. In the end all it is eliminating is the physical need to go into a dealership to find out what parts you need - it's like making a shopping list at home but still going to the supermarket to buy the things, there are really no downsides and lots of upsides.

As it was said earlier Hiro, Toyota NA is trying to get people to by new vehicles instead of fixing their old one. The US government is doing the same thing by offering large amounts of cash for old cars. Here's the article on it.
As taken from the current Corvette Enthusiast Magazine:
The US government has reported tremendous success in it's 'CASH FOR CLUNKERS' program with almost 700 000 old cars surrendered for scrappage & new car sales rising sharply for the first time in many months. However, all of the 'clunkers' turned in had to be destroyed. Among the cars crushed in the program were numerous collectible cars, which are routinely stripped for valuable replacement parts to keep their living brethren on the road. Even Corvettes weren't spared the indignity of legal execution, as 131 Vettes, made between 1984 and 1995, were swapped for the $4500 credit towards the purchase of a new car that got better mileage (4 mpg or better), and 34 of those were convertibles!
Other collectibles and fun cars snared by the car-crushing campaign included 1007 Camaros, 61 Pontiac Fieros, 13 Porsches, 28 Alpha Romeos, a 1989 Firebird 20th Anniversary Trans Am, a 2002 Firebird & an 87 Buick GNX.
It's enough to make a grown car guy cry!!!
BUT WAIT....there's MORE!!!
How about a Bentley Continental R, a pair of 2008 Foose F-150 pickups, a HEMI-powered 05 Chrysler 300, an 06 Nissan 350Z, an 05 Thunderbird, an 08 BMW Z3, 2000 Jaguar XK8, a couple of 06 Roush Stage 3 F-150 pickups, a 97 Aston Martin Volante (WTF????) and an 85 Maserati Quatroporte, not to mention 5 other Maseratis.
The total value of the program, and cost to taxpayers, was around $2.9 BILLION in rebates awarded.
This is a 3rd hand article, so I have no idea which magazine it came from.

hehehe DON'T believe everything you read....
ONLY the engines were destroyed..... a liquidified hardening gell was poured into the engines rendering them unusable. The cars have found their way into salvage yards, the engine is tagged and painted fluorescent orange. BUT... you can scrounge for trim or lights, or other parts.....
I've recently had to find some SAAB turbo 900 ignition wire loom holders, so I've been to about 6 salvage yeards in the greater Portland Oregon area

But how does that stop people from going to the parts desk and asking "I need a water pump housing for a '92 Camry"? Is the parts interpreter going to reply with "Sorry we don't give out spares anymore, how about this brand new Tundra instead?". The existance of an online EPC doesn't change how many people will repair older cars, it just provides the important information at a different stage (ie before you go to the dealer). The same physical part for the same cost still gets ordered from the same dealership (it's not like Toyodiy is an online shopping site which bypasses dealer on-selling), it simply arms the customer with product information before they make the physical purchase.

Could argue it saves them money because we don't hold up their interpreters time by asking for stuff from an engine that isn't in the car it used to be in....
