hey rodger, if you need any pics of the 18RG set up just send me a PM as it is still going great, although i didnt cut the remainder of the cable that is left over inside the cabin as i dont have any sort of gromet to crimp onto the cable to stop it from sliding through,
    any thoughts??

P.S my set up is a cable that rodger provided although i didnt use the plate he provided.

    DQIKST,

Should be able to tighten the nut up enough to hold it from slipping back through the hole. Then you can cut the inner about 2cm from the cable clamp bolt. If still concerned before you cut, you could wrap the inner around the clamp once, after passing through the hole and then tighten.

It is a bit of a bugger laying under the dash to get two hands and two spanners in to tighten it up but once done it should be good.

Post up a couple of pictures to show your set up.

    Regards

    Rodger.

i suppose this is the most easiest & reliable throttle set up
you could make one with a bar & two pilers and a screwdriver
