SRI is useless, just sucks in heat from the engine bay. Better off going for a full CAI, common practice is to either run flex-pipe (basically ag-pipe without the holes) or an alloy tube through a hole in the front guard to a pod-filter mounted behind the front bumper - like this (yes, I know it's a 7AFE and an AE102, but the principle is the same).
Or, keep the standard airbox and panel filter setup (maybe go to a K&N panel), and then run flexpipe to the same CAI place behind the bumper. Alloy tube is the way to go, should only require one bend so is relatively cheap, and the flex-pipe option is even cheaper.
