No real idea, but is the available space worth consideration? Remember keeping the heat in the system is a key in making the turbo spool nicely.
hey guys, just about to start ordering some goodies for the 1uz exhaust....
now, what size do you recon would be suitable? im contemplating going for 1.5" steampipe, yet Justen is running 1.25" ID pipes and Ed running 1 7/8" OD pipe?
the idea is to make either a log style manifold or 2 simple 4-1 pipe maifolds (space pending) then a 2 1/4 from each bank Y pipe turbo merger?
ideas? recomndations? advice?
thanks in advance.

Blake, velocity is the key for a turbo application. (The GT8 seems to tick the right boxes) Velocity has to be balanced with effective scavenging of the exhaust gases from the combustion chamber.
The 1UZ-FE log pipes on the UZS-131 are as restrictive as you can get. The main problem with them is the RH bank, it has a huge depression to accomodate the steering box. So going custom is the way to go.
cheers Chuck.

Not wanting to be a killjoy, but I suggest you get the motor in the bay (with or without steering box in place) before you spend a single cent more.
