Yep, thanks for reminding me - meant to mention that in the last post. Also meant to mention it right from the start this time around... if you could i'd appreciate it, makes it a lot easier. Can deal with any extras down there if need be, but trying to minimise chasing everybody to have cash, sorting change, etc.

Garth, I rang my mate about the spot I PM'd you for the other night. He's still OS with work so treat it as though he can't make it just to keep things simpler for you.
My lap timing gear arrived in the mail this morning too so I'm happy about that![]()

what sort of lap timing stuff you go for?
I'm sick of having passengers with stopwatches to do it![]()
XT Racing Utlra-lap with the download module.

Was looking into a 5hz GPS reciever and running the Racechrono stuff but I don't use Nokia phones anymore so that idea went out the window.
I got sick of timing about 3 of 20 laps too with a stopwatch so was keen for something accurate that'll time for the whole day.

So if you have the IR sender setup i can just borrow a mates reciever?

R.I.P.
I have the IR transmitter and as far as my research went when looking into these most brands will read other brands transmitters for lap timing, some won't read other brands transmitters for split timing though.
So yeah, if you grab your mates receiver it should be all good.
If you can get hold of his timer before the day we can check to see if it will pick up the IR.

Garth ive paid for me +1 at the pelican for thurs night only![]()
on the super plus side, long range weather forecast reckons dry weather on the day, and 5 days either side. This is A Very Good Thing
