How bout trying to set the car up properly with the correct spring and valving rates and then get a set of adjustable anti roll bars that do there job properly?

Soft springs and heavy bars will bind the car up and i havn't found a single situation where its useful, by the same token stiff springs and soft bars aren't the greatest either, its more about finding the right set of compromises to suit the application.

if you want it fast on the track then you compromise its daily appeal, if you want it nice on the road then it wont be great on the track but with a reasonable setup you can find middle ground.

Just dont buy anything made in china and expect it to work well, cause they generally don't

I don't mean soft as in like I've currently got, it's way too soft now.

I just mean relative to some of the stuff that comes out of Japan & europe, I prefer a slightly softer spring setup with a stiffer swaybar to compensate.

Everything is always about a compromise depending on how a car gets used.

Greg, money's come through. You staying at the pelican? Was looking to get that upfront as part of track fees so we're not running round trying to get cash off people and having the odd one go home...

Anybody else looking to pay soon, can you please let me know if you'll be staying and add that to the transfer? Happy to wait on the extra if you're "1 night maybe 2", but would like to get the '1' to make sure we're covered.

    How's this for cocksmokery.

Work said they are withdrawing my leave that was granted for this

But don't worry I'll still be in attendance

Everyone has had their leave withdrawn for the next 4 weeks minimum, nice hey

Means I miss my mates wedding in Melbourne this Friday and lose out on the motel booking too

All this good news was told to us by some tard who only works 4 days a week and that swanned in at 9:30am and then left at midday because "they had things to do"

Damn, I've made this look like the WPMO? thread

If that's a signed leave form in your hand Shane you are 1) quite within your rights to take your leave anyways as it can't be revoked unless they can demonstrate exceptional circumstances in writing and if so 2) able to invoice your work for all costs incurred from you cancelling your plans for their benefit.

Verbal approval should have the same status but a bit more of a grey area.

of course a sudden relapse on your part could also happen at any time i believe?

Yep, signed for this Friday and verbally approved and minuted for the 7th (as I was/will be using flex).

I mentioned reimbursement for my costs, that was shot down pretty quickly with "we're not covering that!" then just to be a smart arse I followed that up with a request of a letter I could pass on to my mate stating that we are so busy I can't have time off to attend his wedding as I said that he would think I had just come up with some lame excuse. That was shot down in flames also.

Oh well, I won't be doing them any favours in the future nor picking up anyone elses slack.
