I seriously dont think my boss would be all that keen on me tracking the ute. I could pretend i was racing in the brutes and push all you !@#$$% off the track HAHAHAH.

It is a 6 speed with an LSD and has some decent wheels and tyres but sadly its not to be

oldrollers, you definitely have WAAAAY TO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS !

I get all excited when i see people quoting spring rated and wheel offsets etc, so dont let me stop you

I have let other people drive my car around the track, usually as a thank you gesture for funding the track day.

I'm an average driver, no doubt about that and would happily let a race driver or someone similarly experienced punt my car around the track and see what the best time it/they can do is.

Insecure about someone else driving my car faster than I? Hardly, it's been done before many times and will no doubt happen many more time in the future.

At the end of the day I'm there to enjoy myself and spectating from the side of the track or from the passenger seat is about 1% as enjoyable as driving Selfish? Probably.

Edit: Oh and to drive my car now the person needs to be very close to the same height as me as the seat is not mounted on rails

A wee bit better than average there Shane, your car always looks tidy on the track and the times are super consistent

Thanks for the awesome input, everyone.
There's a lot of info there I wasn't sure about.
Certainly gives me something to aim for.

Maybe I need to copy this into my ride thread...

By the time you get back here with a car a typical trackday is going to look like a solar challenge race with cockroach shaped single seat vehicles silently rolling around the track at 90km/h.
