I managed to get the front 500lbs/inch tein springs in this arvo but knocked the car off the stands doing up the strut bolts. Fixing that fark up meant no time to do the rear springs so we'll see had the hard/soft combo goes......hopefully only a few scrapes underneath and no real damage

Were you doing the same stuff you were doing when you remodelled the floor pan on the white one?

Discovered today that Subaru 16s don't clear the rear strut of a Caldina... Even with 3mm spacers.

Going to have to either find some bigger spacers, or some other 16"s by Friday.

What kind of tyre to strut clearance is it possible to get away with?

    what width? 7.5" +45 should clear... +48 clears with a 3mm spacer..

is it rim or tyre hitting?

pretty sure they're only 7" wide, but I think the late 90's WRXs had a 55mm offset.
    It's only the tyre (205/55R16)

hmmm, may have to talk to Roundy.
& see fi there's tyre shop in Goulbourn (highly likely)

    done aaaand done

    http://toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=42189

    For sale: 16" TRD T3 in white, 16 X 7 +33 offset, PCD 5 X 100
Price and price conditions: $900 firm

    if 7.5" +45 are abotu 3mm clearance, then 7" +33 should be...
    3+6+12 = 20mm clearance to the strut.

on the outside, they stick out only +12-6 = 6mm? more
an 8" +33 would fit under the guards..

they are perfect size and look awesome .. and forged monoblock TRD rims.... what more could you want
