f-series or a g-series, do a search mate its been covered many many many times.
Please can someone help me, i have a ta22 and need a diff with lsd and with disc brakes
is there something out there that can go in there without major modification? the diff will need to be strong enough to handle 400hp at the back wheel, ive never done a diff and this is all new to me. cheers!!!!!!!!!!

As above but you may have to have it shortened.

f series come from mx10-23 or crowns
g series which are useful to the xA2x series are from a hilux

Ideally youd want an RN27 one but i doubt youll find one so if your happy to get one shortened then aim for one thats 1500mm long or more.
The step down in axle diameter after the spline makes a good 60mm of the axle unusable in the contect of resplining it so you either take off 25mm or less, or 60mm or more.
Your standard diff width is 1370mm.

Already converted G series for a 22, with lsd, shocks, springs, and rebushed arms. $1500 is at least $1000 cheaper than youll get it done.
ps. Dont whinge saying it's too expensive.
