Im running a microtech on a 3s which has a 3wire stepper and cant actually use it because the doesnt support stepper control - it is a fairly massive pain in the arse i cant get the car to run right at cold atm and need to sit there warming her up till about 40 deg. IM aiming to try and adapt a 2 wire of some sort and mount that instead. If youc an use an ISCv, do as it sucks without one.

fwiw: XF falcon and ZL fairlane have a two wire PWM-controlled valve.

some Hyundai have a replica of a large bosch 3 wire (12V, earth, PWM) and seem to have a substantial inlet/outlets and uses barbed fittings for hose.

Replace the ISCV with a 20V one. Thats a 3 wire setup that is PWM controlled. And the Microtech can control it (assuming you have 2 ignition outputs free).

btw, if you accidentally break a modern toyota ISCV (mine was from 7KE, but the JZ ones and later 4ag should be similar?) which has the PWM stuff to rotate a barrel to let air in...
you can modify them so they are just driven by an old style choke cable setup (or a modern type with screw drive for more accuracy)

not exactly flash, but no need for ECU control.. just means a bit of fiddling with the knob or lever when you first go to start car, adn the occasional tweak after it is warm

of course ECU PWM is better...

    hi guys

sorry to wake a cold thread, but i'm looking to replace my setup with a plain TB and IACV.

i'm looking for the IACV inlet/outlet to be hose fittings and the body of it not to bulky. PWM preffered.

    thechuckster said some Hyundai's

    anyone else offer some suggestions?

i've seen this on ebay from a BMW 318i (pic below)

that's what i'm looking for, but any others?
